Dark Funeral vs. Korn (Read first post)

so, vote. and try to comment your decision.
My vote goes for Korn, simply because unlike Dark Funeral they actually made music, pioneered a genre, and stayed original for all those years.
READ THIS FIRST
i'm not asking which of these bands you like. personally i don't like neither, i don't listen nor to Korn nor to Dark Funeral. i don't care what you like. i made this thread to see how many people PREFER Dark funeral over Korn or vice-versa. if you had (and you have if you visit this thread) to pick one over the other, which one would you pick? the gay option meant to be a joke, so far a lot of you fell for it.
if it's confusing then don't vote and most definitely don't post.

It was a very hard decision between options 2 and 3  but I finally voted Korn because of the reasons provided by Damnated. For me Korn's music makes much more sense than DF, Korn have evolutioned their sound and keep on fresh, and they have been one of my favorite bands for long time.

Gave a vote to Korn, of course! I have given Dark Funeral a fair chance to win me over several times, but their music just doesn't hit me. Maybe I should choose the ''I'm gay'' option, because I really don't get it. No wait... No, I'm definately not gay for not liking DF. Whilst I have been a fan of Korn for years now and enjoyed every single album they made, going through all the changes in their stlye.

I hate both bands  because I don´t understand Korn and Dark Funerals music. But Korn has better singer than Dark Funeral and Dark Funeral is too much black metal for me.So I vote Korn.

even if I don't listen to them anymore, Korn was something new for the metal world, together with Limp Bizkit and Slipknot and many other Nu Metal bands. Dark Funeral are just another Swedish Black Metal band full of blastbeats and offcourse no "true" image or ideology or lyrics. they have some nice songs but nothing new.

Shit Versus Shit The deal with Hardcore is that it is all terrible music made by some angsty emo kiddies, well modern Hardcore anyways, I have not heard any of the older Hardcore which is apparently a lot different. Dark Funeralol, those fucks suck as hell.

the only reason why i picked dark funeral over koRn is because they made or remixed a song called A.D.I.D.A.S., have a battle with Fred Durst of limp bizkit in their Freak on a Leash album, and because i much prefer black metal to rap metal, regardless of whos making the music.

Written by LeChron James on 25.08.2008 at 23:29 The "A.D.I.D.A.S." in the song means "All Day I Dream About Sex" and has nothing to with the brand if that's what bothers you, the album is called Follow The Leader (Freak On A Leash is a song in this album) and although Korn have recorded something like 3 songs with rap guest vocals in 7 albums, they don't qualify as rap metal (because nu metal and rap metal are not the same thing  ). I know it has nothing to do with the poll, but I just wanted to get your facts right

Written by Damnated on 26.08.2008 at 11:27 i dont care for either, i just dont like Korn that much. theyre heavy and some of their stuff that isnt rap metal is catchy, like "Somebody Someone" from the Issues album. thats a damn good song regardless of genre. but as a whole, i dont really like their music/the music direction theyve been going as of late. i used to be into them in, say, middle school, but definitely not so much anymore.

Im not saying that they their music doesnt have nu-metal elements. I asked a guy who is a fan of both numetal and hardcore, he said that he has watched an interview (on satellite) that their vocalist said that we are not nu-metal. the person who creates the music would know alot more about the aim and background of the music then us.
