That's one of the hardest things to answer (for me)...I don't know why I voted for Individual Though Patterns. It's not my favorite. I have no favorite Death album. All that Chuck did was unique and pure genius. If I could,I would take my vote back and not vote at all. I have no favorite from Death,as they all are my favorites.

The Sound of Perseverance and Symbolic. I love them both, but The Sound of Perseverance shall always be in my top 5 favorite albums for my whole life.

"Human" and "Sream Bloody Gore" are the my top picks.I love Scream Bloody Gore so much,because of its raw production,it gives this evil vibe to it and the chucks vocals were the most brutal on that album,"Mutilation" has the greatest screams and growls on the album.Then their is "Scream Bloody Gore" the opening riff is magnificent and its also the first track I heard on that album,and of course "Evil Dead" is so great due to the sweet melodic intro.Human contains "Suicide Machine" one of Death's best tracks ever,the line-up is also what I enjoy I love Paul and Sean's playing in Cynic and Death."Flattening Of Emotions" is an underatted song off of Human the solos are very good,I listened to that song over and over when I bought the album.

Symbolic Is my Fav.. so many good songs on that album.. Crystal mountain being my personal favorite

I have to say HUMAN , it is ass kicking death metal fav songs are Suicide machine, lack of comprehension and vacant planets

Vocals, riffs, emotional parts... all is perfect here, more complex and intricate but perfect!

Although I said Symbolic is my favorite Death album Leprosy, Human, and Spiritual Healing are also kick ass Death albums.

Hmmm, I'll have to say Individual Thought Patterns...but they're all great in some way.

The Sound Of Perseverance, because it's the last album, and it represents the last (and for me the best) songs of Chuck.

Everything except Sound of Perseverance, I dont know why, I think its because the sound is more proggressive and less death metal, nevertheless is my least favorite. But the one I listen to the most is probably symbolic.

The Sound Of Perseverance - I really like all Death albums but this one is really awesome, all those great riffs and Chuck's voice is also better than ever, I heard it is because of his disease (RIP), great musicians took part in this album and we can hear clear reflection of that, there are also fantastic Judas Priest cover, I think it is Japanesse bonus track, not sure... in one word - masterpiece

Symbolic, its seems the most accessable so to speak, Im far from a death fan, in fact alot of there/his (chuck) music annoys me. But this album I have some appreciation for.

Indeed, these where the 2 i was forced to pick from...i love human too but the sound quality, the perfect mix between melody and ferocity made me pick I.T.P.
I Like the sound of perseverence but after an album like symbolic it seemed like a step back. Voice of the soul and Flesh, the power it holds are amazing though.

I voted for Symbolic. This album is a killer.

Individual Thought Patterns! The perfect blend between Death and Prog Metal, bass master Steve DiGiorgio, Gene Hoglan doing some awesome drum work, Andy/Chuck's riffs and solos, I could go on lol. Some of my most favorite Death songs are on it to: The Philosopher, Overactive Imagination, and Trapped In A Corner.

Symbolic was my first Death album. It still is my favorite. It's very progressive, but still Death Metal. I really like that album.
