19.09.2009 - 13:10 Written by Angel Of Mercy on 18.09.2009 at 19:10 To me that's their best by far and then Iron Maiden and only then Number Of The Beast. I am mor ea fan of Paul DiAnno's more punk like harsher vocals than DIckinson's over the top siren ones.

Fear of the Dark was very good and probably in the same league as many of the 80s music of Maiden, and probably shouldn't count in this given that it was still 80s Maiden IMO. Of the list it is probably the best, but No Prayer for the Dying is another album of Maiden I really enjoy, Tailgunner and Bring your daughter to the slaughter were classic maiden songs.

I just have listened to The X Factor...and have to say - the only thing "missing" is Bruce's voice, otherwise it has everything that Maiden's album should have

21.09.2009 - 11:33 Written by ToMegaTherion on 21.09.2009 at 02:47 Since when is Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter a classic Maiden song? It is by far their worst song ever. Their attempt at a geniune radio hit which thank god dismally failed. Ask anyone that grew up with classic Maiden what they think about that song and 99/100 will say the same thing as me

21.09.2009 - 13:51 Written by Ellrohir on 21.09.2009 at 12:59 I don't understand why parents wouldn't allow their kids to listen to metal. I started listening to metal when I was 11 and my parents didn't mind at all, even though they hated the noise My parents would have minded me listening to top 40 radio music I think caause both hated that sort of commercial shit. My dad is a huge jazz fan and my mum is a huge fan of French chansons.

Better than Fear Of The Dark? ok, In my opinion No prayer is the weakest with Dickinson on vocals, they tried to achive there "classic" sound. And I felt that it didn't really work.

23.09.2009 - 04:21 Written by Angel Of Mercy on 23.09.2009 at 00:10 If you read my earlier posts you would have read that Fear of the Dark is technically the best 90s album, although I consider it to be the last part of their 80s era/style and would therefore not be a fair comparison. I agree No Prayer is probably their weekest with Bruce, but it is still a decent album in any case, there are some good songs on the album.
