for me it is Stratovarius its one of my favorite bands, i love everything on it , the vocals (Kotipelto is the best damn singer ever) , the guitars are just perfect, the keyboards too , bass and drums are outstanding, yes i know that most of the songs of Stratovarius have the same structure but i still love those guys;D

Haven't heard all the bands so I wont vote. But right now the best one is Nightwish without doubt, Tarja is my favourite singer and Tuomas my favourite song writer.

Can one come up with any harder descision? I´d like to choose them all and still I think this is more of a tie between COB, Nightwish and Sonata Arctica. They all have brilliant music. I like the keyboards in COB´s songs, the mystery of Nightwish´s songs and about evertyhing in Sonata Arctica´s songs. So, I guess I have to choose Sonata Arctica. They are so good live. But the others come right after.

Children of Bodom got my vote as they mix melodic death and extreme metal in the perfect combination Kalmah, Wintersun and Sonata Arctica are great bands that are up with CoB as well.

For me the best would be a very old band called Oz - formed in 1977. I love it so much cause I'm a sucker for traditional heavy metal! The band released 5 albums before splitting up about 15 years ago. Another old heavy metal band that I like is Riff Raff - formed in 1979. They have 3 albums and they're killer (well, at least for me)!! Traditional Metal rules!!!

Why are Finntroll and Korpiklaani not up there? Anyway, my favourite is most definately Stratovarius!!!! They slay! No other band inspires me and encourages me more than Stratovarius! Their song lyrics are like my bible! Damn they've got me through some shit, I owe them. Their songs truly touch me. And look at part of their line-up: Timo Kotipelto - Vocals Timo Tolkki - Guitars Jens Johanssen - Keyboards! ^^^ You can't beat that!

WOW, you should really check out more Finland bands, those ones all suck to the amazing unique brutal, Beherit, without a doubt they are my fav Finland band and in my own opinion are the best, cause they just are so diffrent no one is like them and no one will be like them, they use not only guitars but also other elements to put in their songs, their just amazing, and beat all those bands, Moonsorrow is the closest band behind them.

I dont have one favorite, I like alot of finnish bands like COB, catamenia, kalmah, nightwish, sonata artica, stratovarius, and sentenced. I think my favorite of all of them are either COB or kalmah, not entirely sure about that.
