I just love Edguy. Their music has a great deal of variety to it.

yeh man, like on the new album a couple of the songs sound kinda motley crue ish and some are just cheesey power metal, there great.

I choose Lacrimosa over all those bands, even if you had listed Blind Guardian and Helloween.

My favorite is Sodom.i like Sodom riffs.I enjoy this music

Empyrium, of course, listen to them you will know why I put them here. They have very good acoustic guitar skill, flute, combined with keyboard to create very romantic music.

Primal Fear: Energy, speed, great screams, great lyrics.

I voted for Kreator, best damn German Thrash band ever, why they didn't get picked to be on the "Big Four of Thrash" will forever be a mystery to me.

By the way this thread should've really had an "other" slot cause a lot of great bands arent on that list.

I agree amn but other, then here be list of other bands, like whetever and about German metal ist huge, so huge

I vote for Kreator on the list really good band

But my prefered german band is without any trouble Blind Guardian

Kreator or Sodom

I would have to say Kreator, this is because i really dont like Power metal at all, and Kreator were legendary, along with Sodom, and Destruction which where not put on the list, but Kreator had awesome early albums, and even had some good later released, my favortie thrash band and also my choice in this list.

i cant decide which one i like better out of edguy or gamma ray, they are both awesome bands but i think ill choose edguy because i have listened to them more than gamma ray.

was a touch decision to make.
I had a hard time chosing between Edguy, Gamma ray, Rage and Sodom.
But since I listen mostly at Edguy in these times, I voted for them.

for me it is Kreator VS Sodom.... so i picked Kreator cause i saw them in march and they were amazing!!!

That's a pretty difficult choice. For me it's also Kreator VS Sodom, but I'll have to pick Kreator, because Kreator is my favourite Thrash Metal band.

Damn, this is hard, because I like both Kreator and Sodom a lot. I'll go with Kreator though.

Definately Edguy. Tobias Sammet is (in my opinion) the best male vocalist in metal today

on that list i just like Sodom ... but in germany there is many other bands, like Haggard and Rammstein. i like those two bands very much

Edguy - their songs are nice and videos funny

Kreator and Lacrimosa from this list at least. Oomph and Rammstein are top for me.

I'd have to say Gamma Ray. That cheese factor is just too strong. Haha. But no, I agree with Mustis, true German Power Metal.

Some years ago, I rejected the Kreator sound, because I thought they were boring. Now, I enjoy every single song from this awesome band.

Out of those bands I like Primal Fear most. They've got potential and their songs are (okay, most of them) great. ^^
But Edguy's of course also awesome!

Why didn't you add Rammstein , they have one of the best stage performances ?! And what happened to Tankard

Anyway I like Edguy as much as I like Gamma Ray.
Started to listen to Gamma Ray since Kai Hansen started Helloween together with Piet Sielck, and started to listen to Edguy since Sammet has a voice similar to Michael Kiske's voice.

But I these bands for different reasons, Edguy for their Sammet and of their melodic music,
And Gamma Ray for their catchy songs like New World Order and Kai's voice.

Don't like Wizard as much as I like these bands, but they should've been in the poll, imo.

Kreator, as they play some great thrash, and i prefer them to the other bands on the list...
