Rare band, plays a bit heavyer sounding doom traditional doom metal on Faroese. Maybe soft sounding funeral doom. I had such fealing in the middle of listening. Same time I am impressed, good album.

Pretty fantastic release. No idea what the lyrics mean being in Faroese while listening, but can you feel the emotion in the music and Aldara's phenomenal voice. I got the CD and they give you the translations and a little background on the story of the album, pretty cool.

Very nice indeed. I think the fact that lyrics are in their native language makes this album even better. Each and every person listening to it will get their own "feel" of the texts and it will be unique to every listener.

I saw good ratings on other sites and decided to give it a go. i do hear dedication to these songs, they are obviously a good band, and i also liked faroese language. but the tempo of this was just too slow for me and it was kind of a chore to listen the whole thing. it could also do better without that last track.

Then try Heljareyga. Might be more to your liking.

After listening to this now and then from release I think that they have a very good doom sound (which is rare these days) with some decent death as well. But this is an album thats rushing everywhere, its always on its way somewhere when it could have lingered patiently a bit longer... So for my taste its too stressed to hit higher levels.

I am a sucker for funeral doom with clean vocals so this is right up my alley. 2nd and 3rd songs are my favourites.
