Tarantula

I already knew them but i never heard anything from them. Anyway, i'll be seeing them live in "Caos Emergente".

Tarantula are very respected here, one of the firsts to play metal in Portugal!

What do you think about this band -> KALASHNIKOV

Are they a joke band or it's just their stile? When I see the vocalist Duro(Vai Tudo Abaixo) I think "this Motherf*cker are playing with me" but their music don't sound that awful and I have fun with it....

Actually I don't listen to them, but from what i've heard, nothing too exciting. And yes they are a joke, so I don't know.

The other day I decided I'd finally listen to their album. After all, I had heard so many things about them that I wanted to make up my own mind.
I listened to it once... and it was enough. I believe they may be a good band to see live in a certain kind of event (like the Queima das Fitas) as the joke-act they are, but no more than that. I certainly don't see how they managed to get to play in last Halloween's fest in Lisboa...

See it as a way to make money... And they have a powerfull channel behind, sic radical.

My knowledge of Portugian Metal is limited, of course I know Moonspell and I like them.
next I know is Corpus Christii and I find them terrible. I didn't think Portugal had any Folk metal band till I received a song of Hyubris and I really liked it. Have to dive into that band one day again and give it some more attention.

Sh*t, I know this is a topic of portuguese bands but in this case I've to make a exception. This band is simply called MetallicA but if you see this video you'll see a Portuguese Flag hanged on the wall. F*ck, this makes me very damn proud of this small country!!

I had seen that before. You know they love our country, they are always here now and they have a huge following, above all they are respected. Although the fact that they said, back in the 80s that Portugal was the ass of Europe and they would never play here. Glad they changed their minds.

I'm happy to announce that Mind Overflow, a band I mentioned here are now recording their debut album. It will be released by the end of the year. Its one of the albums I'm very excited about.

I know most people don't know and won't like this band but to me, they are very talented.
