I'm surprised that only 17 people think Sleeping Stars is the best song.

The problem with this thread is that the topic is BEST wintersun song and the question is asking us which one is our favorite...it's a critical attribute to be able to differentiate b/t the two.

The two best songs on the Album are Battle Against Time and Starchild. I think all the other songs revolve and build up to/and down from these songs. They have the most variation and lyrically tell much of the theme of the album.

Beautiful Death is probably the most interesting song on the album..it took the longest for me to like, because I couldn't quite see where it fit in...but I love it, especially the Dire Straits esque outro.

I am surprised that so many people like Beyond the Dark Sun the most...it's more of an intro song...do you people just have short attention spans or what?

As for my personal favorite it's hard to say...I think that the entire album is like one song...my favorite part(s) obviously being the climaxes. Everyone likes to climax right?

I voted for Beyond The Dark Sun, such a good song!! First song I've heard of them!!

By the way, i think Sleeping Stars is great song too...dont understand, why it is last in the poll

It's hard to chose but I voted for Beautiful death. It has great solo and poem! although other songs are great! If I want to assort songs from the best to the worst, I should write them like this:
1) beautiful death,winter madness, starchild,battle against time, ....

Hmmmm the entire album is good but for me its sadness and hate, the clean vocals on that song make it my favourate.
