What a refreshing album! I don't think I have heard any negative opinions about Waking Into Nightmares yet, and that to me is completely justified by this album's consistency meaning it's 40 minutes of uncompromising thrash that simply does not get boring. Warbringer let the listener take a breath pretty much once with the acoustic half of "Nightmare Anatomy."

When I heard their debut, I thought it was quite overrated...

Now, one year later, they released this fucking juggernaut, I mean, DAMN! This album is amazing, my head exploded from the first moment until the last song. This is a great thrash metal rendition and an album that everyone must check out. Well, this was produced by THE MAN himself, Gary Holt from Exodus.

I freaking love these guys. I saw them last year a few weeks before this came out, and they played a few of the songs from this album, and they were amazing. Warbringer is one of the better new thrash acts.

If u can find the bonus edition to this album, u get the "Road Warrior" re-recorded version from their One by One, the Wicked Fall EP. It doesnt blend in well with this album, buts its re-recorded ! Honestly, since debut's production was terrible, i think they should re-record it sometime after their next album BETTER KEEP THE DRUMMER & BASS GUYS

This is a good album, I was gonna give it an 8 but had to bump it up to a 9 just because of the
complexity of all the songs. The vocals are awesome and the drumming is superb, drum parts are
complicated and good tempo changes during songs. The guitar shredding keeps pace with the drums and brings a little extra with their creative solos. I like how you can actuely hear the bass riffs too. Im not quite sure about the instrumental though I've heard better.

Indeed a great album to "put a repeat button on". But won't deny the fact that...it could have been better. should have worked on middle of songs....they were too stretchable( excuse??..No!). Apart from that, one of the great stuff they have in their collection.

I could easily fall in love with this band. there are some moments on their songs which are AWESOME. take as the best example what happens in the last 2 minutes on "Abandoned by time". but generally i feel they dont reach their potential (or my feeling is plasmatic).. no really weak songs except the useless instrumental...

Better than the debut, but IMO the songs aren't that much of a killer material.

Would consider Worlds Torn Asunder their best myself, but this is neck-and-neck. Small death metal touches really beefed-up their sound, turned this band from pepperoni pizza into a meat-lovers.

This is much better than WTA. Initially, Waking didn't click me, but then eventually started absorbing it better with every spin. I then fully realised after spinning Waking into...for years this is the pinnacle Warbringer album, unlike WTA.

Yes, WTA was the strongest release of 2011, if what I remember.
