Personally I think the best death metal albums are old. Some albums that still get a regular spin nearly 20 years later.....
Burial - Relinquished Souls
Vermin - Plunge Into Oblivion
Impaler - Charnel Deity
Accidental Suicide - Deceased
Soulburn - Feeding On Angels
Transgressor - Ether For Scapegoat
Banished - Deliver Me Unto Pain
Morta Skuld - Dying Remains
Demigod - Slumber of Sullen Eyes
And so many more as well as the early albums by some of the bigger names.

Carnage - Dark Recollections

Shit never gets old. The production could be a bit better to me, but the guitar tone and general atmosphere is fantastic.

Maybe, Gorguts - Obscura



It's never gets old in death metal history.

Pretty much any of Bathorys albums. Hammerheart holds up to time perfectly along with most of their work.
