The genre i can't listen to is folk metal that i can never get into .korpiklaani is one of them i hate
very boring and annoying specially the vocals...happy folk metal

Agreed. I hate self referential things in metal anyways, except for certain thrash stuff who do it with style and definitely not as seriously as Manowar. I would not hate a band because of their lyrics or image though as long as they can back it up with actual music, but Manowar cannot even do that.

They play some sort of extremely boring and safe heavy metal (if I want to listen to something from that genre, just infinitely better, I'm gonna listen to Iron Maiden or Iced Earth or Judas Priest or Accept or w/e, just not Manowar, please no) but at the same time keep spewing crap about how they play 'true' metal and everyone who plays 'false' metal sucks. What is true metal? Terms like that are utterly stupid and I have no idea what is 'true metal' but I know what is not, namely Manowar and their utter commercialism. And of course when they cannot get more recognition via music (because they don't make good) they are just gonna try to promote themselves by pretentious and irrelevant 'achievements' by being 'true metal' and being the 'loudest band' in the world.
Truly the behavious of a 'true metal band'. Oh wait nope, nice hypocrisy. And christ, who came up with those lyrics? Like every damn fucking song of their is so goddamn cheesy, Rhapsody pales in comparision, and not only are they cheesy but they all about... themselves. Lol?

Notice how whenever anybody on a metal website posts something like "I'm gonna get a lot of flak for this, but I like *insert popular modern band*", nobody gives him any flak and nobody really cares. Just an observation.

Delain, Epica, Power Metal, Dream Theater, Dragonforce, The Agonist ,any music like that yet there are some good melodies and heavy riffs among their music

Kreator and Cannibal Corpse by far. Kreator's music is good only as influence and nothing else. And Cannibal Corpse is as generic as Death Metal can be. It sounds like they actually try to be generic and cliched.

I just listen to politically charged atheist bands. I like people who acknowledge that there is nothing and that we are all nothing . Besides, a lot of the time the "overly" satanic bands are worse than the christian ones as far as "preaching" goes.

I don't hate this band, but they do use every possible cliche out there to target crabcore kids, they got well known at first by their clean vocalist doing youtube covers, and basically everything about them is horrible/lulzy.
