Yeah, it's a good song, but it's more like Black Waltz's stile, and frankly i like their first 3 albums stile.

Good song man... it was great.. but it's still in the vein of "Black Waltz"
But it has at least those pitched high vocals that I love from Kalmah...
And the cover art is waaaaaaay better than the previous one!!!

Yes the new album is really good. But I've heard just few songs quickly, I need to listen to it again and again to be really sure. But from what I've heard, it's really interesting.

To be completely honest, I got into Kalmah because of a Video Interpretation in youtube, of teh song "Man Of The King" (Done by the same guy who did the famous Trivium one). And I loved it. The keyboard in that sing is amazing.

I listened to the whole album which is really attractive, pleasant and addictive. I like a lot all their previous albums, but this one is really special, bringing something quite new, mixing all Kalmah's best elements and leading to a great album. Melodies, splendid vocals (with some good choruses), good songwriting, ... everything is there.

If Kalmah continues to became better after each album... they gonna be on the top.

I'm actually happy for this guys... they seems to be those musicans who don't care to sell out or something.. they just do what the love. Making music.

I don't know if anyone agrees with me...

- Kalmah are repeating themselves in a way with this release..
- The album's raw sound is better to my ears than the thrashy based album The Black Walts..
- Note that this is the very first time Kalmah play a ballad, or call it a ballad-like whatever, I mean Ready For Salvaion, dunno but this just reminded me with The River Flows Frozen of EToS...
- No groundbreaking track, though all are good music & cool melodies BUT not that extremely special and unforgotable ones, unlike in Swamplord they have played like 5 tracks of the greatest melodic tracks I've listened for in my life...

In short, I can't ever say it is not good, but yet it is not what I wished as I still feel in need for another album like their first three albums style....

Have to say, Thank you Kalmah.

Yeah... I also think that the first 3 albums are the best ones...
And The Black Walts is my least favorite.
But even if "For The Revolution" is kind of the same style. They gave it a more fresh sound if you know what I mean.
And they added more high vocals like the first albums wich I really like.
It's not their best.. but is better than TBW and therefore a progression...

hehe yeah I know I've read in a post of you that you like the high pitched vocals... good for you I still like the low pitch vocals

Yes, I agree, but still I am not forgetting that TBW have each solo better than most solos in life hehe
plus there are yet no groundbreaking track like TBW itself anyways overall yes For The Revolution is better than TBW... maybe also we got more used for the new style plus it has -somehow- brought something of their past...

I'll say the first 3... They Will Return have very catchy riffs.
It can be a bit boring for some people.. but I really love that album and the title song is just a kick in the nuts...

I am going to have to listen to more Kalmah, I suppose. I've heard a bit of them, but not really enough to tell whether or not I like the band. From what I heard a while back, though, they seemed great. Just haven't really gotten around to getting more stuff by them. I'll have to tonight I suppose. I've heard good things about them from other people, as well as here.
