Nice show it was. Sound was bad, but that has always been an issue in that venue. I was pleasantly surprised by Simone Simons being there.

It was fantastic, not just the bands (except Xandria that is, but that's just my opinion), but also the crowd. I had a lot of fun.
The sound was really bad, some of the time it was impossible to hear Khan sing/talk.

Another thing i liked a lot was that the band serenity took the time to talk to the fans outside (while Xandria was playing) and gave autographs after the show.

Agreed, agreed and agreed. Serenity took their role as warm-up act very seriously, I didn't expect them to be that good. And I didn't expect the crowd to respond so positively. Great atmosphere it was.

And Xandria were crap. Period. A Rage riff here, a bit of Nightwish epicness there, a lot of Tarja impersonating, but nothing halfway original. A friend of mine summed it up quite nicely: "Now that Nightwish sound like all the other bands, all the other bands start sounding like Nightwish." And Ravenheart made me feel sick. Seriously.

Serenity did a good job, but they were not my taste at all. I'm not much of a prog rock fan, or whatever that style is called. But the audience was great indeed, and I guess the band were happy with their gig.

I came mainly to see the new Xandria singer, because I liked her work with Axxis a lot. I think, she has a wide vocal range, hits every note, if high or low, has a nice stage personality and to round it off, she's beautiful. I wish, she had joined another band, because I'm not too much of a Xandria fan either, but I'm curious, where she will go with them. I personally will prefer her singing over Simones' any day and this day was no exception.

I heard Kamelot from the rear and I thought the sound was decent. I have no comparison, though, as it was my first Kamelot concert. I was impressed. Great voice over a rich sound carpet. Not entirely my taste, but great band.
