Now verging on Alternative Metal, Sacred Reich has managed to create a terrifying abomination that meshes as one enthralling assault. However, the passion and spirit has made an omnipresent return, conveying hate and disgust in a more stripped and raw delivery. As soon as the album starts, you can feel the rush once more, as if they weren't prepared to fade and die off into the unknown, like so many bands before them. Although they did not keep to their initial formula for success, Sacred Reich have saved themselves this time around.

A major shift in the lyrical content is evident, with Phil Rind now presenting a more personal focus as well as more ordinary lyrics typical to that of mainstream Rock. Sometimes even with no real meaning behind the lyrics, just stories, as they might appear when heard.

Even the guitar solos sound as inspired as they once were in the band's heydays, creating a unique feel of positivity within each song one is featured in. It seems as if some hidden thought woke up in the band member's minds, awakening experimental and innovative inclusions.

Blues Rock can even be seen in the track "Ask Ed", further showing this band knows how to evolve and keep the music interesting without becoming monotonous or redundant. The execution of this is nigh perfect; nothing seems out of place, everything fits together.

All in all, Sacred Reich never ceases to amaze here. This album can be thoroughly enjoyed without becoming tedious for the listener, since the dynamics have returned, with [b]Sacred Reich[b] consequently making another imprint in the history of Metal once more with Heal.

I never bought this album. I only heard it once through a quick listen. Nothing on Heal appealed to me. I can't say this is a bad album nor can I say its good. It is very different tham what I am used to with a SR release.
