US metallers Defiance will release their forthcoming album, "The Prophecy", on October 19 via Candlelight Records. "The Prophecy" was recorded at Trident Studios and Greendot Studios in East Bay, California. The cover artwork was created by Travis Smith (Opeth, Nevermore) of Seempieces.

The band's logo is pretty old school. Also, the album's name reminds me of the UK band The Prophecy (yeah, the band playing at Dutch Doom Days).
