The haters in this forum have zero substance to their criticisms. This website is filled with too many people who think they are mature because they consider themselves dark and brooding. I honestly put this album off for a long time because of the hate i saw that it had on this website, which was a big mistake. Many of you need to pull the stick out of your backsides and learn to enjoy some ultra high energy and uplifting music. The song "Reasons to Live" is a very unique song in the Dragonforce discography, and my new found favorite song by them, though i haven't heard the first two albums. There is definitely a lot to digest in this album and if you are easily prone to musically indigestion you will have a hard time getting through the entire album in one sitting. I truly believe Dragonforce is a band that appeals high-spirited and high-energy men in general, based purely off of anecdotal experience. My metal friends that like Dragonforce are highly active and adventurous people and my friends that don't like Dragonforce and power metal in general are devitalized couch potatoes.

But you really must admit it's thought provoking. You can refuse to believe it, but it has been revealed now.

At the time this was released I can understand the criticism this album got, but now that we're 15 years out and Dragonforce has released a ton of junk since, this album has honestly become one of my favorites. The original singer just synergizes with the bands sound so well, its like hes just another instrument and not the focal point. The new singer detracts from the sound and brings the vocals too much into the forefront. It's not a perfect album by any means, but its the Dragonforce sound that I prefer and crave whenever I want to listen to them. The Warrior Inside being my favorite on this record.
