Rammstein's decline into drab musical obscurity mimics that of Marylin Manson. Both bands relied heavily on gimmicks to get recognition, both had a very unoriginal sound that they attempted to market as their own, both managed to release one or two truly phenomenal records regardless of their unoriginality and finally, both ended up making albums made almost entirely out of generic, mid-tempo alt-metal riffs.

I don't care about Rammstein.

And I don't care about boring mainstream bands like Killswitch Engage, will say I do like your taste in Static-X though.

That's cool dude It's not going to make everyone happy just like any other release from bands. I'm biased anyway lol because if it's a band I love I give them a ten even if I don't like all the song. Well maybe just with Rammstein but not all my favorites. This one I do think is there most underrated album but that's just me. I like all their stuff so yea I just ended up given all their stuff a 10 anyway. tehe I have all their albums and just enjoy them for what they are. Because their just so fun to listen to.

I have to agree this is a very underated album, i'd say it has some of the best songs from Rammstein IMHO

* Rosenrot - the fucked up side of humans - just watch the video to understand - stil a beautiful song

* Wo Bist Du - a very emotional song about the loss of a love, and some indication that he killed the woman and is living in denial as he is still searching for her....

* Mann Gegen Mann - about the rebelious nature of homosexuality, and a big "fuck you" to all homophobics in the world

* Stirb Nicht Vor Mir is, feuer Und Wasser, Wo Bist Du are really beautiful love songs

* Zerstoren is a really cool song and invitation to smash some things to bits and pieces

*Te Quiero Puta! is kinda funny, silly, plays with stereotypes and has a good rhythm

* Spring is a dark strong with a deep meaning - realistic in the sense of capturing the way humans care more about excitement of drama/spectacle than the wellbeing of their fellow humans (the crowd yelling for him to jump), about selfishness as people simply don't fucking care about others, about how trapping social expectations as being high on a bridge automatically is assumed to be suicide attempt, and about how interfering/helping based on assumption rather than actual understanding of the situation is misguided and damaging like the man who redeemed him from shame by kicking him.

if you disliked Rosenrot, maybe you could just dive deeper into the album and take some time to understand the songs, maybe you change your mind

Pretty good. Much slower album than the previous ones but it's still enjoyable.

Pretty bad, would require another listen to find a good song or 2.
Mutter and Reise are good albums, probably worth listening every 10 years. I last listened to them in 2003-2004.

If a 7/10 album is a "pretty bad one", then what's with the rest of the number scale?

1-6 is unlistenable, I don't even rate those. I guess this could be 6.
