Wow, two of the world's best drunk party bands and their horrendous vocalists on the same tour.

Motley Crue are terrible live pretty much all around. They're a prime example of extravagant stage set-ups which they don't match with stage presence. Fucking terrible live. Not to mention I bet these tickets are going to be ridiculously over priced.

when i saw(more like "had to bear") Airbourne they were terrible too, though i hope it was because they were all drunk as fuck, not because they actually are unskilled. the vocalist kept sipping drinks and doing crazy shit(he did climb a 25-meter high stage scaffolding though and played a guitar solo, i'll give him that) while the drummer and bassist went on in a synchronized THUD THUD THUD for 4 minutes. i can't imagine going back in time and trying to bear that gig again without earplugs. pure ear-rape. you can hear the thuds i describe here, also i see it's the video of the frontman climbing the stage, pretty courageous move on his part given how obviously drunk he was:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKQaCTTsySw i was to the right of the stage and at times the only things i could hear were THUD THUD THUD THUD

Hammerfall then took the stage i was in front of and them and their drunk fans made me completely lose my faith in humanity. fortunately Bullet For My Valentine arrived at the right moment and out-rocked both bands combined. true story.

Not that I think Mötley Crüe are much good anyway, but Vince Neil has gotten so old and fat, his performances are just embarrassing nowaydays.
