Damn, I was waiting it, and finally yes the new album of Masterplan the excellent Heavy/Progressive combo of Mr Grapow, Kusch, Eckert, Mackenrott and Lande, is out for our great pleasure. Really I think that Masterplan is on the top of the list of the Heavy Metal bands in reason of their first great release "Masterplan" but also because of the quality of the musicians who plays in this Metal "dream team", especially Jorn Lande who is one of my favourite singer and one of the best Metal singer ever. If like me, you are in love with this band since the release of the first album, no doubt that you were waiting it too? But no need to wait, "Aeronautics" the 2nd album is in the place !!!

Black In The Burn is one of my favorite songs ever. 9 minutes and 44 seconds of an eargasm.

I am known for my hatred of European Power Metal but I just absolutely love this album. Its biggest asset are to me Lande's vocals which come quite close to Dio at times.

My second favourite Masterplan album, which I consider to be on par with the debut one. Hardly any filler songs, powerful vocals by Jørn Lande and strong instrumentation are the secret ingredients of this cocktail.
Favourite tracks: Back for My Life, Wounds, I'm Not Afraid, Headbanger's Ballroom, Falling Sparrow, Black in the Burn.

Best song is opening and its a bit heavy one, seems Jörn Lande can make it happen, his voice is awesome, sad he waisted his time in PM, he also can be HM singer and do it well

Decided to give it a go cos I've always rather liked the debut, it's okay but I don't think many of the songs here would even be in contention for a place on the self-titled, slightly disappointing

The singer sounds a little bit like David Coverdale to me, which unfortunately gave me Whitesnake vibes, still there is some good solid power metal here.

so what's wrong with David Coverdale?! An excellent singer.
No Whitesnake vibes here, Masterplan with Jorn is great, a few Euro-power metal bands I enjoy.

I agree David Coverdale is a great singer, so is Jorn but I can't help but think of Whitesnake when I listen to him sing, not that i don't like Whitesnake though, I used to really like them at one time, I guess it's all in my strange mind I'm listening to Masterplan more now thdy are slowly growing on me.

A very good PM album, Jorn's voice is one of the best in all of music and the songwriting is great. Many highlights throughout the album, especially in the first six or so tracks, and the closer. Definitely better than the debut. 8-8.5.

Overall a good follow-up even if I think the songs are a bit less exciting. Black in the Burn is easily my favourite here
