HHEeeahahwhah-haaahaahaa-heee-wahhh-ahhahahaha!

The album opens up with about 15 seconds of diabolical laughter and cacophony before Suicidal Tendencies unleash a hard core punk meets metal hurricane. This album is intense. It is a sonic atomic bomb.

Truefact! This album has so much energy that you could power a city of 750,000 with it, if you could convert music to electricity.

This is hands down one of the best albums I have ever heard. If i was trapped on an island and could only have 5 albums, this would be one of them.

This album is a barrel of fun to listen to, particularly because many of the songs are fuelled with so much punk rock and hardcore energy that you almost forget the record was made in 1983. I'm not a big fan of the vocals, but i believe they suit the nature of the songs themselves perfectly.

A fun album to listen sometimes. There's one or another boring song, like "I saw your Mommy", but the overall album is good

That's frickin' awesome! I hope you own a record player.

Yep. I inherited a Bang & Olufsen Beogram 5005 from my father a few years back (inherited as in he gave me that and his record collection for my birthday). This will definitely be getting some pretty frequent air-time.

Cool album, not quite my favorite by them, but absolutely a strong release.

Not a metal album, though some people may say otherwise. This is hardcore punk/ska punk. They will crossover into thrash later.

Nothing ska about this album at all.

Sounds like that to me. More rooted in hardcore/ska punk than thrash. With their next album they start to crossover into thrash.

Thrashing around the brain whit old primitive youth music what went trough in the 80's and because some kind brand for punks, skins and oiers.
Not band punk whit hip hoping style vocals. In those days political tolerance did not existed , you could somehow saya ll in the lyrics. People was freedom, youth could do what ever they wanted. and old bill did not care about, street life, buggers, thugers and good music.
Not my genre, but somehow I can take this in little dose.

Calling this ska should be a bannable offence.

Their best for sure. Possessed To Skate, Institutionalized , I Shot Reagan. All classic tracks.

I think he probably meant skate punk. Not that that's really a proper genre.

This is a great debut imo, I like their original old-school punk approach, it's not only raw and full of attitude but the songwriting and lyrical content is also impressive. "I Want More", "Subliminal", and "Institutionalized" are main stand-outs for me but the album as a whole is still thoroughly entertaining.

Omg I wish they could add more tracks to the Radio. Listening to all of the songs on Channel X over and over and over was brutal.

I’m personally a big fan of Memories of Tomorrow. Such an underrated song even for being barely a minute long.

Slayer’s cover of it also rules.
