Morbid Angel - Domination

I've heard some people say that this album is a sellout. Well if it is, than it's the best damn sellout in metal history. My second favorite MA album, behind the almighty Altar's.

Listening this after "Illud Divinum Insanus" is like drinking beer after dirty hard working day!

Great album, especially due to 'Hatework' and 'Caesar's Palace'. 'Melting' has filler written all over it though,as does 'This means war'.

I've heard that as well, and it's something Ive never understood, as to me it's still undoubtedly pure death metal... I'll never understand some people! Anyways, this is a a great album which I think I might even prefer slightly more than "Covenant" (if not the the first 2 albums) and would be an underrated classic if not for a couple of fillers.

Dumbed down Death. The only song I find somewhat enjoyable is 'Eyes To See, Ears To Hear'.

How anyone could think that THIS is anywhere in the realm of selling out or going commercial is baffling.

Massively underrated album. One of my favourite death metal albums full stop, let alone favourite from Morbid Angel! I don't know why but I fucking love the album artwork too.

Good album, but why the hell is "Dreaming" even on there? Sounds way the hell out of place.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again, "Dreaming" is one huge turd of a song. A horrible interlude track. Other than that, this album is pretty bitchin'.

Very under-rated album. Love everything about this album.

Not bad at all. Vocal is weakest element of this album. Where these times?(A.o.M.;B.a.t.S.) Album artwork is pathetic.

Can see where Mithras get much of their influence. Probably the best Morbid Angel album for me.

Dawn Of The Angry was probably the first Morbid Angel song I heard... Still one of my favorites. The main riff is just too good.

The first song of theirs I heard, and quite possibly the first death metal song I heard, was Enshrined By Grace off of 'Heretic' as it was played a lot on a music channel (called Scuzz I think). Even then I thought it sounded silly (though strangely enjoyable in a weird way)

Pete Sandoval did a great job in this album. Probably his best work in the drums.

Last great MA album

Idk why this is rated so high along their classics, the vocals aren't good and a lot of the riffs are dumb in the bad way. Also, so much of the B-side just sucks.

I'll pass on the slime vocals, thanks.
