Mastodon will be featured on the upcoming Transformers: Dark Of The Moon soundtrack, coming June 14th, with their cover of ZZ Top's classic "Just Got Paid".

I've just seen the trailer for that one a couple of days ago. Usually I hate cheap crap like this, but I had to admit, the trailer is awesome. And now the whole thing got even awesomer!

If I were Mastodon I'd probably decline the offer to be featured with those other bands, but then again, I love money so I would accept in a heartbeat. The artist list on the soundtrack is worse than Transformers 2!!! *rimshot*

Love both Mastodon and ZZ Top... but this won't be enough to get me to check out the movie or sound track. nice work on the song, especially the vox.

Wow, what a terrible looking tracklist. But the Mastodon song does sound pretty awesome. I'm probably gonna go see the movie, but I doubt it'd be any good. I used to love the first one they made, but it got boring pretty quickly. But for some reason I just keep getting drawn towards them, so I guess they do their job. Heh.

Just replace the date of this movie, and this is what you'll get  the song's pretty savage, I'm not gonna lie. I love ZZ Top and i was afraid that they would butcher it somehow, but their guitar sound and vocals are spot on.
