There are many different accents in England, Scouse, Brummie, Cockny, West Country, Geordie, Yorkshire ect.. then you have the Welsh, Irish and Scottish, alot of different sounding accents in such a small country, but I imagine it must be the same in most countries.

Well, the accents in Brazil, albeit different fron each other, are all understandeable for a regular portuguese speaking person

Gutdie is cool. I believe in whole Europe has same, historically yes. But in 50s I think all should speak literally, so but accents still are here. In sweden yes, Skåne, Småland is horrible. Skåne is like Denmark. Norvegian is family, but South is easy to understand, north fuck no. Denish is alien... Unless you're die hard born in Malmö

One of my flatmates in Plymouth was that Scottish bloke who normally spoke in a fancy English accent, but would naturally resort to his native Glaswegian when he was drunk. It was hilarious seeing the bewildered looks on everyone's face then

I don't know, I admit I've always had trouble finding my way around local accents of the British Isles, but of those I was in frequent contact with (that Scottish flatmate, one Irish colleague coming from the countryside around Cork and a neighbour from the suburbs of Birmingham whose accent was also atrocious to my unaccustomed ears, for instance), that Glaswegian way of speaking was by far the one I least understood.

The scouse/Liverpool accent is also a very bad accent, for those who aren't familiar with it, the accent is a mix of Irish, and Northern English, and it sounds horrendous when women speak it.

It's the choice they make, not go live a healthy boring lifestyle, with plenty of exercise, and live to 100, but rather consume large amounts of alcohol, eat loads of crap, take drugs, and have wild fun, but live to 70 or less.
