Hell yes! Olympiakos made it to the Conference League final against Fiorentina. Football got interesting for the first time in forever. Let's bring the title home to Greece!
It's crazy how much nonsense I've heard for people who don't truly understand the offside rule (but then again, it's a pretty complex set of rules on paper).
@ Cynic, if you're talking about the 2nd goal, then you're very, very wrong. They were robbed only on that late offside which actually wasn't, and that's that.

[Also thanks to Angel_Lament for sending in this news!]
Wow. I think they deliberetly wanted to make this sound horrible. No way this a product of coincidence. And that's coming form someone who loves St. Anger.
Slightly off topic: according to official site, the last song, "Junior Dad", is 19 minutes long. Imagine that, folks, 19 minutes of Lou Reed vs. Metallica. Yay.
Two more songs btw are over 10 minutes long... Dear god.
I have a feeling i'm going to enjoy listening to this album
what kind of sado masochist are you?
with albums I simply find plain boring (The Final Frontier, In Flames' A Sense of Purpose or Amon Amarth's latest), i can't even listen to it for the lulz and those are the truly horrid albums I cannot stand. On the other hand, stuff like St. Anger, Sonic Syndicate's latest and what i presume this album will sound like, i just find them hilariously bad and laugh all the way through.
Sounds like shit. I hope there's better than this on album. Vocals especially suck, couldn't care less about the instruments.

To their tombs the people are immured,
There is their gold, treasure and wealth,
The only condition is to ignore them,
Those who feed on corruption and weave death
Generally a band in Metallica's position will do the "art" album and then the "safe" album... this is too bad to be either one. This sounds like the definition of collaborative discord. Actually about what we should have expected from two artists who have no business working together.

I wouldn't say I loved St. Anger, but compared to what I just heard, it's awesome stuff...
I don't want to hate this album, I want to love it, but I don't like Lou Reed, I think he sucks. This clown most certainly does not deserve to share a stage with Metallica, nor does he fit in with them...not even a little bit. Why the hell are they doing this anyway?

Well, they did this and they thought it was pretty cool. So they went for more.
It is an Amazon 30 second sample, it is well know it always gets the worst part of the song and out of context (I suppose it is randomly chosen)
In fact I really liked the rather complex time signature during Lou's speech (I really hope nobody actually thinks he is singing because he is not).
It is clear to me that many people WANT to hate this album no matter what they hear.
Well, it IS a sample the published. It's nonsense to defend it based on the fact that it's just a sample - it sucks and that's it.
People don't want to hate this album, they've just heard this 30 seconds and rationally concluded it's a piece of crap.

PS - complex time signatures? That's just generic riffing + bad and boring drumming + as you said, speech, which gives an illusion of some non-existent complexity.
In the same way, I could just record myself reading the lyrics to Master of Puppets while playing the actual song on winamp, and then call it "a complex" because my speech rythmicaly doesn't follow the song (which is perfectly normal).
This was fucking painful... Just when you think the speech was bad you realise that the drumming is fucking terrible beyond all description.
Sunn O))) aid it once and I will say it as well: I wish that Lars was killed in the accident instead of Burton.
Just to contribute:
The full song title is "F.W.T.B.T. (I Dream of Lars Ulrich Being Thrown Through the Bus Window instead of My Master Mystikall Cliff Burton)".
Btw it's a cover of Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" (FWTBT).
