The first 5 tracks are all closely related to other NWOBHM albums that had been released recently before this...odd.

1) Powergame = Power Games - Jaguar (1983)
2) Break The Chains = Breaking The Chains - Dokken (1983)
3) If Heaven is Hell = Heaven and Hell - Black Sabbath (1980)
4) On Through The Night = On Through The Night - Def Leppard (1980)
5) Killer City = Killers - Iron Maiden (1981)

Just thought I'd point that out.

Oh and Grim Reaper released a track in 1983 also called Liar (track 6). Lolz

Wow. You'd think all these other bands got together and discussed what song titles they were going to use and Tokyo Blade overheard them.

A total cult classic. Saw them live in 84 with Horizon, Savage, Metallica, and Venom at the Aardschokdag in Zwolle, the Netherlands. And they were easily the second best band of the day.

Btw Venom were by far the worst that day. What utter and useless crap.

When i bought this album back in the 80's i loved this album. I wanted to hear it back again and bought the cd but i was disappointed with the recording that is really awfull. It's a shame because there are great tracks in that one that would deserve much better production. Night of the blade and blackheart have a much better production quality...

Pretty much what you would expect from a 1983 record soundwise. And hence it's pretty good. There's some really cool guitar playing and solos here. I think this record beats some of the well-respected classics; I need to hear more from these guys. 8,5/10

One of NWOBHM's finest. Lesser bands could only dream about sounding as timeless and fun as peak Tokyo Blade.
