Kreator - Enters The Studio
German Teutonic thrashers Kreator has entered the studio to record the band's thirteenth full-length studio album and follow up to 2009's Hordes Of Chaos.
Band states: "Kreator has entered the Studiomega studios in Varberg (Sweden) to finally start the recordings for the new record coming mid-2012. As for now, the drums are set up and the first tracks are already recorded. Stay tuned for more stuff from from recording process."

Hmmm... didn't really care for Hordes Of Chaos as much as Enemy Of God. Here's hoping it'll be a worthy return to form!

Enemy of God was a masterpiece, after that album, HoC will remain as below Kreator-average... I hope at least something like Violent Revolution or EoG...

I'm definitely hoping this one will be better than HOC, which was a decent and solid album, but far from great. It's the weakest of all their "thrash comeback" albums for sure.

There's no really bad songs on the album, but the major problem with it, is a lack of genuinely great songs. Most of the album sounds like treading water to me...

Written by Ankläger on 17.01.2012 at 06:10 No, I think that was just when they started work on the new album... @Greg L: Pretty much what Troy said. You can't go wrong with their 80's material, plus "Violent Revolution" and "Enemy Of God" are very good modern thrash releases.
