Hmmm... didn't really care for Hordes Of Chaos as much as Enemy Of God. Here's hoping it'll be a worthy return to form!

Should be a satisfying, if not amazing, release.

Well, I'll give it a shot. I'd say it's worth watching for... But nothing worth getting your hopes up too high for.

Enemy of God was a masterpiece, after that album, HoC will remain as below Kreator-average... I hope at least something like Violent Revolution or EoG...

I'm definitely hoping this one will be better than HOC, which was a decent and solid album, but far from great. It's the weakest of all their "thrash comeback" albums for sure.

I may be one of the only people on MS to have liked HoC. Actually pretty excited to hear some new tunes from these guys

I've never ever said I don't like HOC. I just find it patchy, and also weaker than the two preceding albums. There's no really bad songs on the album, but the major problem with it, is a lack of genuinely great songs. Most of the album sounds like treading water to me...

Enemy of God is probably their best contemporary release.
Although from '85 to '90 they were absolutely gold.

Coma of Souls, end of story. To me, it goes right with Act of God, By Inheritance, and Deception Ignored at the very zenith of thrash metal.

Weren't they supposed to "enter the studio" last May?
They're 8 months behind.

No, I think that was just when they started work on the new album...
@Greg L: Pretty much what Troy said. You can't go wrong with their 80's material, plus "Violent Revolution" and "Enemy Of God" are very good modern thrash releases.
