Started in 2004 under the name Rhino (had to be changed due to legal issues) they have since released a demo and several full lengths. This shit's some slamming sludge.

Yikes, that is some dirty, dirty sludge. I'm into it though; it's pretty mesmerizing. And I must say it was the band name that drew me in. What the hell... I just ordered the album.

I like them. I just hope they don't try to become a High on Fire clone.

Still think their previous album is much better than the latest one.

Oh yup! nice thread. Sludge-y-sludge-y-sludge. Grengus is a crushing album as a whole.

Been listening to them for a couple years. Good stuff, though the vocals aren't my favourite.

I like the vocal because they change up so much. He doesn't do the same thing throughout the whole album but instead keeps the listener on their toes.

18.06.2012 - 22:28 Written by Susan on 16.06.2012 at 18:00 Their 2010 album is more Stoner, and my god, it is fantastic. Like, I'm close to giving it a ten, the vocals are fantastic, and everything just flows so smoothly, even the electric organ. if you haven't, listen NAO!

I bought Weight Of Coronation about a year ago based on the track "Sovereign" alone. While I still love that song, the rest of the album didn't do too much for me. I enjoy it enough to look into other albums if it's convenient, but not enough to rabidly pursue the rest of their discog.

I loved Weight of Coronation, the vocals are a surprise but I love it I heard the new one, Grengus, but I didn't like it all that much, will have to give it a couple more spins. Good band though. Definitely heavy and ball crushing.
