Galneryus - Angel Of Salvation

Damn, 'Phoenix Rising' only came out in October 2011. I'm genuinely impressed at how quickly they're getting new material out of the gate.


As for aspects on quality, all I ask for is a return back to their proggy/speed/power metal days rather than stretching out their admiration for classic rock.

Wow. I'm re-listening to the second track right now, and this is pretty damn awesome. I checked the album out a couple of months ago, but wasn't overly impressed. I thought it was good, but I didn't really get into it, but let's try that again, shall we?

Pretty solid album overall. I don't miss the Hard Rock elements at all, and the title track is a masterpiece! The solos and the orchestra at the end always give me goosebumps.

Very solid album and the Japanese singing mixed with the orchestra parts add a lot to it.

A fantastic release from one of the most overlooked bands in Metal.

Hunter X Hunter jumpscare

Yeah I'm watching now Hunter X Hunter and "Angel Of Salvation" is one of their best

I'm so glad I'm finally having my power metal phase so I can discover gems like these and experience eargasms like no tomorrow.

After the initial awe of jaw dropping musicianship wears off, I find this album to be a tad repetitive in terms of song writing. The are some golden moments of course and the guitar work of Syu is just marvelous. But the length of the album is definitely a put off.
