There's a couple of fillers on here, which is why I don't rate it higher. However, for the most part, this album is amazing stuff!

I'd definitely call this as thrash/speed classic and as my personal favorite from their discography. The band doesn't seem to appreciate these songs as much as their later stuff since they're mostly only playing "Rotten To The Core" live, but I think there is plenty of Overkill hit songs here, like the title track, "Hammerhead", "Overkill", etc. Besides that I always though Blitz as one of the top thrash vocalists, especially on these early albums

Decent TM classic, I prefer this beter as any other thrash opeing album from west coast maybe Metallica 1th one was better, this is killer

I think it's an excellent album. I like the obscure cover of Sonic Reducer .Rotten To the Core is another great song. Hammer Head kicks ass! It's great debut for Overkill.
