Looking back on a historic and gem-studded career, Feel The Fire lit the beacon that the band would take forward to such heights during their long and winding career. Overkill hit the ground running and never looked back; though they may have slowed the pace (quite literally) at points in their career, they've never lost sight of what brought them here. There's a couple of fillers on here, which is why I don't rate it higher. However, for the most part, this album is amazing stuff!

I'd definitely call this as thrash/speed classic and as my personal favorite from their discography. The band doesn't seem to appreciate these songs as much as their later stuff since they're mostly only playing "Rotten To The Core" live, but I think there is plenty of Overkill hit songs here, like the title track, "Hammerhead", "Overkill", etc. Besides that I always though Blitz as one of the top thrash vocalists, especially on these early albums

Decent TM classic, I prefer this beter as any other thrash opeing album from west coast maybe Metallica 1th one was better, this is killer
