Complex yet subtle. Such adjectives immediately come to mind when describing the 3rd Hammers' opus - "The Locust Years". This album clearly owes much of its substance to the fertile minds that drive Slough Feg, the most obvious aspect being the Epic feel of the songs. It comes as no surprise therefore that HOM also features Slough Feg dudes Mike Scalzi and John Cobbett. Read more ›› |

The album does include all of the above styles though. And there is some really great music in it.

Holy shit this is soooo good! By far their best work. Again a great mix of styles but more catchy and more varied. It´s hard to pick faves here. Trout Out The Dead went directly into my Top 666 favorite songs. Other high class songs: Title, We Are The Widows, Famine´s Lamp and Widow´s Wall
