Not a Dimmu fan and i really love this album, thumb up!

One of the very best of the whole year for me.

Took me quite a while to actually take the time to listen to this album. Oh god why did it took me so long!? A great album. Nothing super original, but very well made and very enjoyable. That's straight up my alley!

I accidentally came to listen to this album and I really like it ! I'm a melodeath fan anyway but unlike the latest Dimmu Borgir or Fleshgod Apocalypse album, this one manages to inject some orchestral flavours and NOT overwhelm the rest of the melody. Great one !

All i can say is this is a true masterpiece

Maybe it lacks of originality, even tho great sound, composition and great stuff overall.

When I read that this lacks originality after listening to this album .. I can only comment to ask: "Please share the albums you feel sound like this one". I like Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth, but I feel that the industrial influences that can be heard here give this album a strength that most other don't have. At least that's my opinion.

Yes I know but I wonder why we haven't heard anything yet :/ Regarding your previous comment, I fully agree with you. I also like Dimmu Borgir (RIP...) and CoF but Omega Arcane ranks among my alltime top10 !

This album helps me cope with the disappointment of Fleshgod's King.

Are there any of you who aren't so keen on the album willing to sell me their's? I can't seem to find another copy of it.

Omega arcane is without a doubt Legendary, an alltime favorite masterpiece.

I really really really really really really like this album. Tasteful and phenomenal all around.

Powerful symphonic black metal. Definitely up there with some of Dimmu Borgir's best.

8.8/10 for me - 'Ash Statues' is the standout track. 'Ruins', 'Malicious Winds', 'Traveler Of Unlight', 'Slumbering Giant' and 'Omega Arcane' are also all fantastic.

Doesn't sound like black to me, but oh well. I thought there were a few really good songs, a lot of filler, but a good consistency. "Ruins" and "Nomad" especially stood out.

The symphonies are done to a good standard, but still doesn't really provide the dynamic and effect I'm looking for. I don't think the symphonic death and black subgenres do it for me, aside from a few albums. It almost always results in one aspect of the music being half-baked, which is a shame.

Not much BM in here, but it´s none the less a very good one!
