When I heard that Mercenary had parted ways with bassist and songwriter Henrik "Kral" Andersen I feared the worst. Too many bands had virtually died after losing an influential member and Kral was, in a way, the "Mr. Mercenary" for many years. This album has more strong songs (Lost Reality, My World Is Ending, Redefine Me, the title track, Year Of the Plague, Simplicity Demand) and is overall much more consistent IMO. My ratings would be: The Hours That Remain: 9.1/10 11 Dreams: 8.7/10
