Truly magnificent album. While being black metal, it creates a beautiful, dreamy atmosphere (also due to the occasional female vocals) and is totally not hard on the ears, which makes it very relaxing stuff. Easily one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard and I can keep listening to this without getting bored at all. It's highly likely that fans of Summoning would also like this album.

Ah thanks for reminding me about this Erik. I've been meaning to bulk up my collection of mediocre atmospheric black metal  Nah, I love atmo black, but I just don't like this album.... at all....

I still love this album. Yes, it's definitely not perfect (for example, the screams aren't that great, but they don't bother me) but I still enjoy it immensely after many, many spins (30+ or even 40+).

This is a very good Black Metal album, very overlooked, obviously. I appreciate the heavily melodic load, which delivers the atmospheric touch here. The first four songs are really excellent (well, the first one is just the intro but it is a perfect opener for such an atmospheric album). The title track stands out, too. Unfortunately I have a really hard time these days to get my hands on a copy of this album.

Nice not too serious fluttery ambient video game folk metal perfect for the sun gazing down on you at this time of the year. You can see where Windir and the like from Finland took off. For a long time, I couldn't grasp the art until I saw the vinyl's color edition ironically on the label No Colours Records.
