How is Wuthering Heights connected to Tolkien? The band name isn't since it refers to the novel by the same name by Emily Brontë

Again a great list! I really like the concept of this one. I'm seeing a couple of favourites of mine like Galadriel (The Mirror of Ages is better than Oblivion though, in my opinion), Summoning (I'd prefer OMD and Stronghold to OB though) and of course Vordven, which in my opinion is a gem of an album.
I might have some suggestions, but don't have the time now.

Glad to see Avathar on the list. Their demo's are also really well produced and great stuff. Here is their latest. Don't know what's going on with them now days, amost 3 years of silence

Surprised no one had this idea for a list sooner.

That is exactly what I thought when I found it, but the album feature on the list is primarily Tolkien themed.

Thanks Erik Galadrie'ls earlier albums are Tolkien based, but the one on the list is more 'themed' and same with the lyrics. I will only add one album per band, so I chose Oath Bound as I already used Stronghold in another list. Vordven definitely has lots of Tolkien influences and sounds in their music and its also a great album too.

Thanks for the link, really like that stuff . I haven't listened to their demos before so I'll give them a play soon.

Ah I see, that might be true what you say about Galadriel. And yes, only 1 album/band is the best if you ask me. And with a song called Rivendell, you don't even need to listen to Vordven to know it's Tolkien-influenced.
By the way, despite the fact that you've already covered quite a lot of Tolkien bands, I found two more for you to check out (neither of those are featured on MS though):

I used metal-archives for nearly half of the albums on here, but not all I've found the are featured on MS. I have heard of both bands, but haven't paid much attention to them. I'm still finding more bands/albums, so if you find others (even if they aren't on MS) you can comment again .

Not sure why I didn't add this band, as they do have some Tolkien/fantasy themes in their music, adding soon.

Bob Catley - Middle Earth
He is not featured in MetalStorm, but as that album has some metal elements in it, I will add to list.

Utumno - Across The Horizon
I don't know if the lyrics are Tolkien-related, but the band name is the name of Morgoth's first northern fortress (before his first capture and before Angband)
