Awesome album. It's one of the band's most solid outputs to date in my opinion. Plus the recruitment of Zyon on drums and Neil Fallon on 'Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla' is well thought out.

Really good stuff in total. Especially Bloodshed is awesome. You can feel the rhythm and the heavy pulse of Brazil. I think it's thanks to Cavaleras are playing together on that track. But also Cannibal Holocaust is really good - fast and dynamic.

What a disappointment after the mighty Enslaved.

Sorry, you need to listen this album carefully as far as comparing with "Enslaved" is concerned. Enslaved for me was totally crap and time wasting record to come out with. This record sounds far better what they did with 2 previous albums to be really honest. Little bit potholes in between but thats fine enough to get neglected.

I'm sure people will give benefit of doubt on this as genuinely "Savages" is stronger record to come out from Soulfly camp than what they did with Enslaved and pile-of-shit "Omen".

I really don't know but sure as hell you've screwed up judging Enslaved. Its their one of the worst(yes, Omen and Enslaved weigh on same stupidity) record.

I'm with Cynic. Enslaved was super average in comparison to this one.

Definitely "Enslaved" was better than this one!
My exact rating for this album is "7.4".

His weight being relevant .. how ?

Depending on a vocalist's training, weight fluctuation can impact their performance, especially if they're so out of shape it affects their lung capacity and breath control. The type of weight also matters, whether it's muscle or fat, as both can impact various elements of a vocalist's technique, particularly if the weight targets the stomach, chest, and/or neck region.
