Hour Of Penance - Debut New Song, Reveal Album Cover

Brutal death metallers Hour Of Penance haven't wasted much time and already premiered the first track off their new album Regicide. Furthermore, you can also take a look at the album artwork that will grace the release right here. As for the new song, you can watch the lyric video for "Resurgence Of The Empire" and get hammered by its power. Do you like what you hear?

Due out on May 13th in North America, May 12th in the UK/Europe and May 16th in G/A/S and Australia via Prosthetic Records, Regicide features cover artwork completed by Gyula Havancsák (Annihilator, Destruction, Grave Digger) which, like the album, revolves around the themes of destruction, rebirth and the killing of the king.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at Rome's 16th Cellar Studios (Fleshgod Apocalypse), the album is described by the band as "a bone-crushing feast for old and new fans... more varied and brutal than everything we've done so far."

Sweet, can't wait to hear the rest. These guys have found a sound that works for them and are (wisely) milking it for all it's worth.
