hi. i recently noticed how much i love nightwish-like moody/sad songs like ghost love score, epica-seyf ad din, the epica song with the terrorism spoken bit and theatre of tragedy-(that damn song with the edgar allen poe narration)
basically, that's what i'm looking for(bands, albums, etc). reccomend away!
Sorry to highjack this topic, but since this is the closest I'm likely to find, I might as well ask here.
Anyone heard of the Gothic Rock band "The Empire Hideous"? Their stuff is almost impossible to find on the Internet. I'd like someone to tell me a bit more about them, what albums they've done etc.
Also, it would be awesome if someone sent me a PM with a download link for one of their albums, I can't find one for shit. Preferably not their newest album.
There have been some great gothic releases this year! Though I could use some recommendations myself, I feel a bit behind in the genre. So far I really enjoyed 3 very different takes on "gothic" being:
Heavenwood - Abyss Masterpiece is one of my top albums of the year Ava Inferi - Lovely symphonic gothic, female vocals Lake Of Tears - More rock oriented with a nice beat, male vocals
There have been some other nice ones, like Draconian of course, and Kamlath, and many I still need to hear.
