Geoff Tate in his peak, not only because of his voice, but also the creative vocal melodies. The way he sang is irreplaceable. Songs like "Take Hold Of The Flame", "Deliverance", "Roads To Madness" are all legendary because of him.

Oh Rob, for sure. The greatest Metal frontman of all time.

Tough one, there is nothing much separating them, they are all great vocalists, and all have thier own unique style, but my favourite would have to be Dio, with King Diamond, Bruce and Rob all equally in second.

It depends how you categorise this.

Most Helloween and power metal aren't really my thing but I would say Michael Kiske is definitely in with a shout as his voice still sounds great to this day whereas Halford and Dickinson are both past their best.

Any time, any era then I would probably pick RJD.

I think Ian Gillen from Deep Purple should get a mention, I know they are more hard rock than heavy metal but it was 1970, and back in the day he had such a great vocal range, and those screams on Child In Time give me goosebumps every time!

For me nothing beats the (un)holy trio of Halford, Dio, and Dickinson
