Necrobutcher
First impression: it is not that thrashy as it should be and there are some "dead" moments on the album, more than those in the previous albums..

Loved the first 7 tracks, everything after that seemed like filler imo.

When I first heard 'Now We Die' I thought something like... this might be a good album, but except a few good riffs and solos there's nothing to enjoy. Right now I'm disappointed, I think this is their worst album in decade.

Robb Flynn has less integrity than Lars Ulrich.

I don't know a lot about Robb Flynn, but that is a very bold statement.

The opening track makes me want to listen to Born of Osiris' newest album. The comments make me want to even more.

I actually think my main problem is Robb Flynn's vocal delivery and cramming too many ideas.

They need to get a producer that has the balls to keep Robb Flynn contained.

I agree with a lot of what you said especially the last part... but c'mon... Flynn is not in the same camp as Ulrich.

He's worse He jumps from trend to trend musically whilst berating other bands for playing whatever they're playing. He's been involved in quite a few little tiffs with other bands over the years. He comes across as loving the attention.

haha, you've got R Flynn issues. Just relax and enjoy the music, dude.

That's true. Heh, I just heard entire ''The Blackening'' and whatever he followed throughout his career, this album is masterpiece. Except a few records, there's a lot of to enjoy in Machine Head music.

I'll enjoy Burn My Eyes and The More Things Change. Anything after is generally garbage at worst and disappointing at best (see my "review" above).

I'll enjoy those as well, plus plenty of their material after those two albums. Each to their own. I read your "review" above and disagreed with most of it.
