Skeleton Of God have reported sad news today. Their bassist Joel DiPietro has passed away. Joel was an original member of Exit-13, and also played in Satan's Bake Sale, Skeleton Of God, and Hidden. He was only 44.

The band stated: "Today we are heartbroken to share the sad news that Joel DiPietro has passed away. His legend will remain, he was an original member of Exit-13 (1989-91), Satan's Bake Sale (S.B.S.) (1987), Skeleton Of God (since 1993), and Hidden (since 2002). Here is the most recent photo we have of him. His last words to us was 'There is an undeniable chemistry between us and friendship that transcends miles and years.' (-Joel,1/25/15). He passed yesterday (2/1/15). Rest in peace brother!"
