I listened to this album for the first time yesterday. I stopped really following the band after "Adrenalize", even though they were the band that first got me into hard rock/metal, so it's taken me this long to finally pin this one down for a listen! I feel this album would have been a better follow up to "Hysteria" than "Adrenalize" was. It's still a fair way from the Leps at their best, but it is certainly better than I expected it to be. Whereas "Adrenalize" was a mostly poor album, "Euphoria" is decent for most of it's run-time, although it only contains one truly great song, which is "Paper Sun". That song is probably even better than "Adrenalize"'s one stand-out moment, "White Lightning", and is a phenomenal song. It's just a shame that songs like that one are such a rarity in the band's catalogue. Another issue I have, is that there aren't more guitar solos on the album, and some longer ones too.

I still have a soft spot for "Hysteria", and "Euphoria" makes a good companion piece for that album, and certainly would have made a more worthy follow up to it than "Adrenalize" was in any case.

A go down after Slang, but still have some interesting songs, like Paper Sun, promises, guilty, Kings of oblivion or the instrumental song Desintegrate.
