Killswitch Engage - Debut New Song And Video

As they prepare to unleash a new album, Killswitch Engage have just given fans the first taste of what they will find on their upcoming album, which is due out next year. The band just released a new music video for a song called "Strength Of The Mind". The follow-up to Disarm The Descent will be their second since the return of vocalist Jesse Leach now that Howard Jones is doing his thing on Devil You Know. Stream the song below and see if you like it.

Leach said of the song and video: "The video visually captures a bit of the anxiety and chaos that the song touches on lyrically. It is almost a bit surreal and dream-like with the camera effects, called 'whacking.' It is always a pleasure to work with McFarland and Pecci, as they are both artists who give it their all with no shortcuts. Watching Mike work the camera live, while Ian paces around and directs, is a very involving and creatively satisfying experience."

Killswitch Engage's new album will be released on March 2016. Expect more details soon.

Too soft and squishy, and generally a bit boring. Jesse sounded much better when he couldn't actually sing. Take one for the team and fuck your voice up for us and get some proper screams out again.

I really really enjoyed the verses, but my god that chorus is boring. It's like the best parts of Alive Or Just Breathing combined with the worst parts of Disarm The Descent.

All it really did was make me re-listen to Alive Or Just Breathing.

Overwatcher, MS Xena, crumbled him in no time. MS needs you to kill the boredom in here.

Like this after a couple of listens through. Pretty catchy and as always, love the positive message in their lyrics.
