Axel Rudi Pell seems to be somewhat of an "unsung hero" in the eyes of many people - the people that know his music, even though he would say otherwise himself, as he is a very modest person.
His solo band going now for over seventeen years and still seems to be somewhat unknown to many metallers.

Axel Rudi Pell doesn't play the most technical and complicated music ever. (Even though some is rather complicated) His style is more of one with a very strong melody and quite traditional and mature sounding.

Last album with Soto on vocals. Axel Rudi Pell had a good streak during this period and this is just as good as all the previous ones. There's a drop in quality at song 6 and 7 and all the solos blows, but the rest of the album is good. The title track got this overly catchy chorus (it sticks for days!) and the tracks Nightmare, Turned To Stone and Playing With Fire does offer some great fast riffing. Light In The Sky is also one of his best ballads.
