They should have broken up after "Only Inhuman", which was more than decent, and they would have saved all this shame. But, on the other hand, I guess this shit gives them money.

Holy...

This is so bad.

Like, it's not quite We Rule The Night bad, but it's only like a step or two above that. This style of electro-pop-rock has been done by so many other bands, so much better. The self-titled was a step in the right direction, I guess I was wrong about the "new change in sound" being a potentially good thing.

Also it's really sad how irrelevant Sonic Syndicate has become. They were a massive name in mainstream metal in their Only Inhuman days and every long-time World of Warcraft player has heard their music at one point before, but now they're struggling to even break a hundred thousand on the average video. The Unguided has become more popular, which isn't saying much considering they lost relevance really quickly.

Overwatcher, MS Xena, crumbled him in no time. MS needs you to kill the boredom in here.

I felt as if they just flat out gave up. Which i agree is sad since i really enjoyed the self titled release. Even if it wasn't original in the slightest.

You're being awfully generous in claiming this is better than We Rule The Night. At least that album had blow and naked psychotic hookers, enough to get their music video pulled from social media (not that the song itself was worth anything). If it weren't for my terrible attention span, comparable to a strung out flying squirrel with a crippling addiction to PCP, and tabbing over to reddit while this plays in the background, I would've remembered to close out the background noise.

I feel as if this is just exceptionally bland electro-pop-rock that is nearly offensively bad. We Rule The Night had an even more obnoxious tone and really out-of-place screaming (I find Richard to be fine, he didn't change his sound from the better received Only Inhuman, just the context of the music was awful). If I had to choose between an entire album like this, or just "Turn It Up", I'd take the latter just to get it over with, but at least this I made it to the halfway point befoe quitting out.

I have never really been a fan of Sonic Syndicate still I can enjoy Eden & Fire or Only Inhuman as both albums share great moments and show a lot of energy (the kind you need when waking up to go to work ). But over the years they have changed (or devolved ?) so drastically that they have nothing in common with the band I came to listen to.
