Delain - Unveil New Single And Video
After releasing 4-track Hunter's Moon EP in February, Delain now offer a brand new single, "Burning Bridges", which will appear on the upcoming, sixth studio album. Accompanied by a music video, "Burning Bridges" single can now be viewed down under. More album details will be revealed soon.
The band states: "We are proud to present "Burning Bridges", the first track off our sixth full studio album. With its energy and bombast the track marries some of our favorite musical elements, and introduces a real life choir as a new colour on our palate. We hope you enjoy the track, along with its video, shot in beautiful Snowdonia."

I just love how Delain keeps evolving in the right direction. Ever since The Human Contradiction, they found their own style in the crowded genre and keeps working on it. What's great, is that they are not stuck with the same formula: Moonbathers was more varied and kind of experimental, and what we can guess from "Master of destiny" and "Burning bridges" a new album will dive even deeper in the unique mix of symphonic metal. I mean, the use of Charlotte's vocals, the melodies, harmonies, and songwriting, in general, is just top class. Everything just sounds huge and epic, without losing the metal part. They just take more risk every time and takes bigger challenges. It seems that after releasing We Are The Others band decided - "That's it, we put all the most accessible songs to one album, now the shit becomes real". And, o brother, what shit it is! Delain remains the freshest band in the genre. And the first songs promise a killer album, I even bet on the best band has released yet.
