So far Coronavirus has infected more than 115,800 people killing over 4,200 worldwide. It resulted in World Health Organisation (WHO) declaring the coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). And today, the WHO declared the outbreak to be a pandemic.
Initially, we have been indulged SARS(Severe acute respiratory syndrome) outbreaks like in 2002-2003 in Northern China that resulted in 8000+ cases mainly in China and Hong Kong. Similarly, MERS Coronavirus outbreak originated in Saudi Arabia in 2015 spouted devastated casualties routed to South Korea have not been entirely eliminated, but it has never been a pandemic.
What we though witnessed to the WORST CASE of pandemic was in 1918-1919 Spanish Flu that infected 500 million people around the world. Another in 2009 H1N1(Swine Flu) affected approx. 575,000 deaths that were later termed as "mild" pandemic. There is smatter of such cases that occurred in different timelines.
My question is,
Do you think Coronavirus to be a really a pandemic? Or Is it just another case stacked to likes of H1N1, Ebola, Bird flu etc?

New Orleans becoming a new epicenter as day-by-day they running out ventilators, beds, masks, and other necessary medical equipment as cases erupting from different parts of America especially Louisiana. This is even worse, "Scarcities of protective masks, gloves, gowns and eyewear for doctors and nurses - reports abound of healthcare workers recycling old face masks, making their own or even using trash bags to shield themselves - have emerged as a national problem." America was very late in closing borders when damage was already done. Donald Trump regularly fails to address media mostly deflecting with doofus statements or attacking media persons when he doesn't have adequate responses. He knows he's running out options to save American lives as scarcity in American has gone fucking berserk. As for EU, you can just pray it does no longer runs by fucking idiots.

USA is made for rich , but when such non plan for good business happens , nobody is ready. Denmark cancels isolation after easter, social life starts to go ahead but still large gatherings be banned till september To me its over reacted, c mnon we need think about economy, corona be over after 2-3 weeks, banning large gatherings, sport and culture so long will kill our economy a lot.

Last 5 weeks experts says on north of sweden corona will Come next week. It had not happened. Same time we are more following recomemdatipns, 2 meters and no major gatherings. Now its eater, 70% will stay home. Its good number, in Malmö, Göteborg, Stockholm statistics are bad, people violate goverment recomemdations, now pubs, caffe, shopping centrets can be msndatory close. Seems north is safe, still snow n ice here, but when spring comes... I hope all be good

No sign of flattening the curve as far as resurgence cases in Italy, US, Spain, and Iran are concerned. India along with Saudi moving up in numbers in terms of detections. India will be extending the lockdown after 14th April. So far what I galloped about Coronavirus info, it was originated into 4 subtype virus and out of which 2 types of virus have spread across the world map - S string and L string. Either one of them has the most devastating effect causing rapid deaths in recent succession as compared to other which is projected to mild string development. It does deal with body cells with respect to DNA. Not everything pulled from the internet can be taken on face value, but it certainly causing serious damage across various continents.
