Omg they released a lyric video for this. Can someone pinch me?

This band has become so formulaic, predictable and chasing the crowd. At least to me, nothing they've put out since Vanitas has been interesting.

Kinda bland. Endarkenment has an epic chorus, even if the verse riffs are pretty standard for Anaal Nathrakh. But besides the melodic part in the middle, there's nothing really attention-grabbing here.

Their old stuff is better.

Yeah, this is highly disappointing. I liked the first single a lot, this is... eh, sounds like a general mediocre extreme metal band. C'mon, guys.

I was getting mad melodeath vibes throughout the song.
I agree this shit is weak af compared to previous stuff I hope its just one of the blander songs on the album and the other stuff is more flavorful.

I thought vanitas was way more boring than Desideratum and a new kind of horror has a couple really interesting songs like "reek of fear". I don't think we'll ever get another song comparably as good as castigation and betrayal sadly. I wish they'd go more crazy witht he electronic elements. Having Goretech as session they could've made some awesome material but they only used them sparingly.

Much rather them evolve into a unique blackened cybergrind act than devolving into more recordlabel pleasers
