When you move Londom bootboys, skins and football fans, they invade LA, NY streets, baseball, whit own music, this is american made, but sounds like British. Sex Pistols something. I enjoy that song, liked bass parts there, such punk in US we dont know much about it, well Hard Core came later , I am happy, will listen it . Sometimes I listen punk, not so much now, but before, but I can go back, I like this song.

Sad news reaches us this morning with the news that former Rejects drummer Andrew 'Lainey' Laing passed away yesterday. Lainey was an integral part of the band from 1999-2016. Our condolences to his wife, children and extended family. RIP mate.

It was the year 2006. In the heat of a July Tuesday, four young men, aged 19-22, headed into the studio to record their first album as a band called Against Comfort. Their names were Ahto, Andrei, Dmitri and Raul (nicknamed “Halo” because he was always playing Halo 2).

Although the four guys were inspired and had a strong passion for music, their journey didn’t unfold as smoothly as they had anticipated. Ahto, the bass player, was consistently high AF. Yet, his bass recordings had a professional quality to them because of his proficiency on the instrument.

Raul, the alleged drummer, was fooling around with a drum machine, as he hadn’t practiced his drum parts. Instead, he had opted to spend his time playing Halo 2 at home.

Andrei, the keyboard player, was coping with heartbreak. He had recently been dumped by his girlfriend. Andrei composed a song about the break-up, featuring the lyrics “I am sitting in darkness with my thumb up my ass.” He requested that the song be recorded first to capture the immediate intensity of the emotions.

Dmitri, the guitarist and vocalist, disliked Andrei’s lyrics and intentionally performed them overly dramatically on the recording. His hope was that the final outcome would be so terrible, it wouldn’t make it onto the album. Nevertheless, Andrei shed tears when he listened to Dmitri's singing and asserted that the performance was incredibly heartfelt, authentic, and filled with pain, making it likely to win back his girlfriend once she heard it.

Besides everything mentioned earlier, the four young men had already depleted the majority of the funds they had saved for studio time. Ahto purchased a large amount of marijuana, while Raul/Halo loaned money to his sisters. Andrei spent 480 kroons on flowers for his soon-to-be ex-girlfriend, and Dmitri acquired a new guitar in hopes of improving his skills as a player.

Moreover, the producer working in the studio that day was so worn out from pop punk and emo rock that he carried out his duties on autopilot. Eventually, Against Comfort completed the recording of four songs. These recordings left all four band members incredibly unsatisfied, leading to the demise of the band.

Almost two decades later, the producer of that day, a man named Marten Angerjaam or something similar, stumbled upon the raw recordings. Overwhelmed with guilt for his subpar work, he took the initiative to remix the songs and upload them on YouTube. Now, behold, here they are:
