Archspire - New Single Launched
Canadian tech death masters Archspire will be releasing their new album, Bleed The Future, on October 29, 2021 via Season Of Mist. The outing was recorded, mixed and mastered by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio. Artwork created by Eliran Kantor. The five-piece is also premiering an official music video for the album's first single, "Golden Mouth Of Ruin".
Archspire comments: "The Archspire kitchen is open for business! We'll be serving up big portions of the fastest death metal your ears can handle, across Europe and the U.K., so come get an extra large helping of home made, extra creamy tech death! Make sure to leave room for dessert, because we'll be playing songs from our upcoming album Bleed The Future! Bon appetit!"

I'd take any song from that new Ophidian I album over this. And Rivers Of Nihil has a lot more character than both of these bands.

Very good song but the vocals are quite slow compared to the earlier albums. I want machine gun fast vocals like in Involuntary Doppelganger.

My gripe with Rivers is that they don't have a very good sense of melody in my opinion, which is where Archspire has the upper hand. Rivers is definitely more "expansive" music, but it feel a bit aimless at times. In Rivers I feel like I'm waiting for the "good part" - Archspire on the other hand I never feel like a single second is wasted.

I find the song incredibly headbangable too; the part at 3'23'' where the music stops for a fraction of a second, then the guitar plays this chugging riff and then everyone else kicks in makes me want to obliterate everything I have in sight.

Weird, I like it a lot now. It grew on me. Still don't like the rapper, and it's still packed with wank, but I like it now.
